Slumberland Furniture is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse & Delivery Associate to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a positive customer experience by handling merchandise with care and delivering it safely and on time. Our ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, customer‑focused, and able to lift and move heavy furniture with ease. Experience with furniture service and minor repairs is a plus.

• Load, unload, and move furniture and mattresses safely and efficiently
• Deliver merchandise to customer homes with professionalism and courtesy
• Assemble and install furniture as needed at customer locations or in‑store
• Provide minor furniture service or repairs during delivery or as scheduled
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and delivery vehicle
• Conduct quality checks and inspections of products before delivery
• Assist customers with questions and ensure a smooth delivery experience
• Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure order accuracy
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

• Proven reliability with strong attendance and punctuality
• Friendly, professional attitude with a focus on outstanding customer service
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy items (75–100+ lbs) throughout the day
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience in furniture handling, delivery, or assembly preferred
• Experience with furniture service or minor repairs is highly desirable
