Oncology Nurse, RN Nurse
Role:
Registered Nurse (RN) in an oncology and infusion care setting, providing direct patient care, counseling, education, and clinical support.
Responsibilities include:Utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administering medications and treatments; assisting during procedures; coordinating patient activities; educating patients and families; and ensuring high-quality, safe, and ethical care in accordance with standards and regulations.
Key duties:Communicate effectively with patients and team members, maintain patient confidentiality, respond to emergencies, document care accurately, and collaborate with healthcare providers. Provide back-up support for Radiation/Oncology clinics, oversee equipment and supplies, and uphold infection control standards.
Qualifications & Skills:Valid RN license, certification in chemotherapy/immunotherapy, and preferably 1-3 years oncology or infusion experience. Must demonstrate strong communication, compassion, teamwork, and adherence to safety and ethical standards. Proficiency with clinical software is desired.
