- Provide comprehensive primary care through in-person and telemedicine visits
- Deliver preventive care, annual wellness exams, health screenings, immunizations, and health promotion services
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, infections, and episodic health concerns
- Manage chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, asthma, obesity, and hyperlipidemia
- Deliver urgent and episodic care, including stabilizing patients and coordinating higher-level or emergency care
- Perform and interpret point-of-care testing, laboratory services, and health risk assessments
- Provide patient education, health coaching, and lifestyle counseling
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, hospitals, employee assistance programs, and community healthcare resources
- Assess and treat occupational injuries and illnesses
- Conduct medical surveillance, regulatory examinations, hearing conservation, vision screening, respirator fit testing, and drug and alcohol testing
- Manage return-to-work and workers’ compensation programs
- Support workplace wellness, health promotion, and preventive health initiatives
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Environmental Health & Safety, client stakeholders, and Medcor clinical and operations teams
- Participate in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response planning
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and clinical records in electronic medical record systems
- Perform patient intake, specimen collection, inventory and supply management, scheduling coordination, and general clinic operations
- Practice independently onsite with support from a remote Medcor Oversight Physician
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or a master’s degree from an ARC-PA-accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Education, training, certification, and clinical experience necessary to independently evaluate and treat pediatric patients ages 5 and older
- Current DEA registration
- Current BLS and CPR certification
- Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience practicing independently in a primary care setting
- Experience with autonomous assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic health conditions across a broad patient population
- Experience using electronic medical records and other clinical technology
- Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote clinical and operational teams
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies
- Patient-focused approach and commitment to exceptional customer service
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the scheduled shift
- Ability to lift or move medical equipment, carry a jump bag weighing up to 50 pounds, assist patients with ambulation, and respond to emergencies
- Ability to work around infectious materials, workplace noise, varying temperatures, and industrial environments
