Decorated Apparel Specialist

AP Design is hiring a full‑time Decorated Apparel Specialist to join our embroidery production team. This role combines hands‑on production, organization, quality control, and creativity. You'll work with state‑of‑the‑art embroidery equipment while producing apparel for businesses, schools, athletic teams, and community organizations throughout southwest Minnesota.

Every day is different. One project might be embroidery for a local business, the next for a championship team, community event, or trade show. You'll work with modern embroidery equipment in a fast‑paced environment where quality matters and your work is seen throughout southwest Minnesota.

No embroidery experience? That's okay. If you're dependable, organized, enjoy hands‑on work, and take pride in quality, we'll teach you the rest.

You’ll work in a friendly, relaxed, air‑conditioned production environment where headphones are generally welcome during production work (when appropriate). Every project that leaves our shop represents a local business, school, team, or organization, and you'll help create products people are proud to wear.

• Prepare garments for embroidery
• Hoop garments and apply backing
• Operate modern multi‑head Tajima embroidery equipment
• Monitor stitch quality and thread colours
• Finish, trim and inspect finished garments for quality, placement, and thread accuracy

• Receive and organise incoming apparel for production
• Package completed orders
• Maintain embroidery equipment
• Keep production area organised

• Work closely with designers and production staff
• Help prioritise production schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met
• Maintain AP Design quality standard

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to stand/lift 50 lbs.
• Experience with embroidery is a plus, but we'll train the right person
