Maintenance Shop Technician| PIPESTONE | Pipestone, MN

PIPESTONE is seeking a motivated Maintenance Shop Technician to provide hands-on operational, maintenance, and asset management support across our facilities and locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, takes pride in organization, and likes working both indoors and outdoors.
Pay: $23-$25/hour
Location: Pipestone, MN
Full-Time
- Perform facility, equipment, and grounds maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and materials to identify repair and maintenance needs
- Complete routine maintenance, minor repairs, cleaning, mowing, weed control, and general groundskeeping
- Track, organize, transport, and maintain equipment, inventory, tools, and materials
- Receive, unload, stock, and organize supplies and operational materials
- Prepare and stage equipment and materials for maintenance and field teams
- Document maintenance and repair activities accurately and timely
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, storage yards, warehouses, and shops
- Support compliance with safety standards, permits, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding priorities, schedules, and project status
- Assist with various operational and maintenance projects as needed
- General maintenance, construction, mechanical, or related experience preferred
- Experience using tools and light equipment
- Inventory management, yard organization, or asset tracking experience is a plus
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and office software
- Forklift or equipment operation experience is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel between locations to deliver parts and materials
- Indoor and outdoor work in all seasons
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting
- Regular lifting of up to 20 lbs. and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
