Logistics Service Representative / Medical Driver

Marshall, MN – $17.00/hr – Full Time

Tuesday - Friday, 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM

• Spend most of your day in a company-owned vehicle, driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials.
• Operate a hand‑held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
• Complete route duties that vary based on client and business needs, and adapt to changing assignments.
• Show teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Operate company vehicles equipped with dashcam recording systems, understanding that video will be captured while operating the vehicle in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and company safety policies.
• Drive a non‑commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination as required by local mandates.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Handle varying item weights and physical demands required by drop‑off and pick‑up responsibilities.
• Ability to lift items off storage racks.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time.
