Althletic Trainer

Missouri Valley College has an opening for a talented and energetic athletic trainer to join our team of trainers in the college's athletic department.

The Athletic Trainer is responsible for the care of student-athletes, assisting the Head Athletic Trainer in the day-to-day operation of the athletic training facility. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

* Athletic Training coverage for assigned team practices, home events, and travel when needed (not required).

* General care of student-athletes during assigned treatment hours.

* Maintain student-athlete medical records.

* Assist in the maintenance and inventory of athletic training room equipment and supplies.

* Potential to mentor exercise science undergraduate students who have interest in athletic training

* Attend all scheduled faculty and staff meetings.

* Other duties as assigned but not limited: scanning documents, scanning insurances, communicating with coaches, communicating with team physician/sending doc list, etc

Minimum qualifications

* Master's degree in Athletic Training (e.g., Athletic Training)

* NATABOC Certification in Good Standing

* State of Missouri Athletic Training licensure or eligible (Must be obtained before starting athletic training duties.)

* Legally eligible to work in the United States
