Salary: $100k-$140k/yr
Shift: 8-hour day shift, Monday-Friday, with some overtime as needed
Location: Marshall, Missouri
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with company standards as well as federal and state regulations.
- Determine group goals, establish project plans, and allocate necessary resources (in-house or through outside consultants).
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise engineering and drafting staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure safety, effectiveness, and reliability of products.
- Manage project costs and timelines, ensuring completion within budget and schedule.
- Supervise installation of equipment and software, maintaining smooth integration with company systems.
- Maintain company certificates of authorization authority as a licensed managing agent per state requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve product discrepancies and technical questions.
- Coordinate monthly project billing with accounting staff and monitor group financial performance.
- Develop and improve engineering and drafting processes, standards, and tools.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri (or eligible for reciprocity).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering leadership.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering project management.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude under changing or high-pressure conditions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
