HiFyve is hiring a Chief Engineer in the Manufacturing industry in Marshall, Missouri!

Salary: $100k-$140k/yr

Shift: 8-hour day shift, Monday-Friday, with some overtime as needed

Location: Marshall, Missouri

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee all phases of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with company standards as well as federal and state regulations.
  • Determine group goals, establish project plans, and allocate necessary resources (in-house or through outside consultants).
  • Recruit, mentor, and supervise engineering and drafting staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure safety, effectiveness, and reliability of products.
  • Manage project costs and timelines, ensuring completion within budget and schedule.
  • Supervise installation of equipment and software, maintaining smooth integration with company systems.
  • Maintain company certificates of authorization authority as a licensed managing agent per state requirements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve product discrepancies and technical questions.
  • Coordinate monthly project billing with accounting staff and monitor group financial performance.
  • Develop and improve engineering and drafting processes, standards, and tools.
Education Requirements
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri (or eligible for reciprocity).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering leadership.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering project management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude under changing or high-pressure conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
