The Living Center strives to deliver high‑quality, holistic, evidence‑based care to maximize each resident’s level of independence through the promotion of rehabilitation services, skilled nursing services, and comfort care. We are looking for a compassionate Staffing and Training Coordinator to join our Long Term Care team. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.
Shift- Full-Time – 6:30 a.m.–3 p.m. (Days)
- 80 hours every two weeks
- This position can be filled with a CNA, CMT, or LPN
- Willing to fill in if we have a call in day or night shift
- On‑call 4 days during the week and every other weekend
- Split staffing coordinator: one week working on the floor, the next week off
- Develops and maintains employee schedules using current scheduling software
- Ensures staffing needs are met
- Reconciles staffing needs based on budget‑approved positions
- Assists with employee training and skills validations
- Encourages team communication
- Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices
- Able to provide direct care to residents in times of staff absences if needed
- Identifies areas for staff training or skills competency
- Serves as a clinical expert for staff assistance and support
- Supervises staff to ensure quality care and compliance with current policy and procedure
- M‑License in CNA, CMT or LPN
- Long‑term care experience preferred
- Management experience preferred
