1st Shift Entry Level Mechanic

Position Responsibilities

• Report to the Maintenance Supervisor at the Marshall, MO facility.
• Detect, troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, and test parts and components on plant and production equipment.
• Inspect machines to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure production operation.
• Use repair manuals, parts diagrams, and technical documentation to troubleshoot equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
• Perform electrical, pneumatic, welding, and fabrication work on production machines.
• Work seven days a week and extended shift schedules as required.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of progressive mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Vocational technical training in machine maintenance.
• Ability to carry and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Proficient in reading and writing English for production and quality documentation.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages).
• Familiar with and capable of using shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch, and basic hand tools.
• Hands‑on electrical experience.

• Hourly rate of $23.17 per hour plus a $3.50 per hour attendance bonus.
