Entry Level Mechanic

Conagra Brands seeks a 1st Shift Entry Level Mechanic to support our manufacturing operations. In this on-site role, you'll learn to maintain and repair production and packaging equipment in a fast-paced food plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance. Working alongside experienced mechanics, you'll perform basic inspections, lubrication, part replacements, and adjustments while following strict safety and food-quality standards. Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of production and packaging equipment
• Perform basic mechanical tasks such as lubrication, part replacement, and adjustments
• Follow all safety, quality, and food-safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
• Document maintenance activities and report issues to senior mechanics or supervisors
• Support root-cause troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment organized and in good working order
• Collaborate with operators and technicians to prioritize maintenance needs
• Participate in training to build mechanical and troubleshooting skills
