As a non‑profit community hospital, Fitzgibbon Hospital is vital to the health and well‑being of the communities it serves in the Marshall, MO and surrounding area. We are looking for a self‑driven, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Med/Surg unit. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.
Shift Details- Fulltime (72 hours every 2 weeks)
- 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. (Days)
- Valid Missouri LPN license
- Current BLS (preferred)
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- All rooms are private
- No limit on visiting hours as long as the patient's condition allows
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) available if required
- Comfort care (hospice, palliative care) available, with comfort cart and grief resources provided if needed
- Physical, occupational and speech therapy teams provide services in rooms as needed
- Swing Bed services available
- Trained Rapid Response team available to provide care if it becomes medically necessary
- Care for children over the age of one week old in the Med‑Surg/Pediatrics unit
- Special "kid‑friendly" menu for pediatric patients
- Pediatric procedure room with a "kid‑friendly" atmosphere
- Accommodations for parent(s) with children in our unit
