LPN Substance Abuse Nurse Job Summary

Batlin Recovery Center, a leading provider of substance abuse treatment services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN Substance Abuse Nurse to join our team in Marshall, MO. As a LPN Substance Abuse Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with addiction. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to individuals in our substance abuse treatment programs, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and performing assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions, educational workshops, and support groups.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment outcomes.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Requirements
  • Current LPN license in the state of Missouri.
  • Experience working in substance abuse treatment settings, preferably in an LPN role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds, with frequent bending and standing.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
