Drive long haul (OTR) freight loads across the United States, primarily in the middle corridor. Handle dry van and refrigerated (reefer) loads: 1 pick/1 drop or drop and hook, 100% no touch freight. Route type: OTR.
Equipment2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Trucks feature ergonomic seats and steering positions, 70 L/96 W sleeper, larger‑than‑average built‑in refrigerators, auxiliary power unit (APU), dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, and satellite radio.
SafetySafety is shared responsibility; operations and dispatch conduct safe and legal routes. Trucks undergo regular maintenance with 24/7 shop support.
CommunicationRegular face‑to‑face meetings with managers and team members. Dispatchers and drivers work 24/7 communication.
Pay$1,430 to $1,860 per week, based on work record and experience. Paid for loaded and empty practical miles (5%-7% more per year than short miles).
