- EMR System:
Epic - Support Staff Available: APPs (NPPA)
- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM) or Family Medicine (ABFM). EM or FM residency trained required. ABFM physicians must have 2+ years ED experience at facilities with 10k+ annual volume.
- Certifications:
ATLS and ACLS required for non-boarded EM and FM physicians. EM boarded physicians do not need to maintain ATLS once boarded. Initial ATLS required for EM boarded physicians but does not need to be current.
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (NPPAs) to manage patient volume.
- Perform emergency procedures as required for the treatment of patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR.
- Comply with all credentialing, onboarding, and hospital orientation requirements.
