Location: Marshall, Texas

Reports to: Integrator

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Travel: Approximately 15–20%

Position Summary

IFE is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Human Resources Manager to lead and strengthen our HR function across multiple district locations.

This individual-contributor leadership position will serve as IFE’s internal HR subject‑matter expert, advise company leadership and district managers, and manage our day‑to‑day relationship with our Professional Employer Organization (PEO).

The Human Resources Manager will also train and support office administrators at each district location, developing them into capable local HR generalists who can assist with onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and other approved HR activities. Although these administrators will not report directly to this position, the HR Manager will provide functional oversight and remain accountable for consistent, accurate execution of location‑level HR processes.

The successful candidate must be comfortable developing HR programs while personally carrying out the work. This position requires someone who can evaluate current practices, identify risks and gaps, recommend practical solutions, and follow HR matters through verified completion.

The Human Resources Manager will be expected to demonstrate and reinforce these values across all IFE locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as IFE’s primary internal HR professional and trusted advisor to the Integrator.
  • Evaluate and improve HR policies, procedures, workflows, checklists, and controls.
  • Identify HR risks early and present practical, well‑supported recommendations.
  • Maintain confidentiality, sound judgment, consistency, and accurate documentation.
  • Assess the HR capabilities and training needs of district office administrators.
  • Train administrators to support onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, records collection, system coordination, and other approved HR activities.
  • Create standardized procedures, templates, training materials, and escalation guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and review location‑level HR work for accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and consistency.
  • Establish clear boundaries regarding which matters administrators may handle and which must be escalated.
  • Serve as the primary internal liaison with IFE’s PEO.
  • Coordinate payroll‑related HR information, benefits, retirement plans, workers’ compensation, compliance support, and employee records.
  • Verify that PEO transactions and employee information are complete and accurate.
  • Manage recruiting activities from approval of an opening through acceptance of an offer.
  • Partner with leadership on staffing needs, compensation, internal equity, and workforce planning.
  • Develop and oversee position‑specific onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate employee promotions, transfers, reporting changes, compensation changes, and role transitions.
  • Support managers with coaching, performance management, investigations, corrective action, and employee concerns.
  • Recognize when legal, PEO, payroll, benefits, or executive review is needed and expedite promptly.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records, HR systems, templates, forms, and organizational information.
  • Track vacancies, turnover, onboarding completion, training status, employee‑relations matters, and other HR metrics.
  • Travel periodically to district locations to support managers, train administrators, assess HR practices, and reinforce company‑wide standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Five or more years of progressive, hands‑on human resources experience.
  • Experience independently managing significant HR processes or supporting a multi‑location organization.
