NORIT Activated Carbon is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plant Warehouse Operator to support our operations in Pryor, OK. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the warehouse inventory, ensuring timely and accurate receipt and dispatch of materials, and supporting production activities by maintaining an efficient flow of goods within the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies accurately.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials and finished products for shipment according to company standards.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and JDE software.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to coordinate material movements and resolve any issues.
  • Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
