Detailed Description
- Performs regular and scheduled maintenance on hydraulic fracturing equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.
- Conducts repairs on equipment as needed in the field using hand and power tools.
- Installs and configures electronic and electromechanical equipment and instrumentation.
- Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical, and electronic components.
- Travels to locations to perform emergency repairs on electronics and equipment.
- Diagnoses electrical problems and troubleshoots using wiring schematics, repair manuals, and part catalogs.
- Inspects, operates, and tests equipment and components to diagnose malfunctions.
- Tests equipment at the manufacturer's facility to ensure it meets company standards before field deployment.
- Documents repairs, inspections, and testing for all equipment.
- Maintains a safe work environment, adhering to all QHSE requirements at all times.
- Mentors and trains less experienced Electronic Technicians.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
- Proficient use of electronic test instruments and tools.
- Extensive knowledge of instrumentation such as flow meters, transducers, densimeters, and controllers.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in using OEM software for configuring and troubleshooting related equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic applications controlled by electronic components and systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics/drawings.
- Knowledge of data transmission protocols and equipment networking.
- Familiarity with radio communications.
- Ability to read and interpret safety manuals, operations instructions, and policies/procedures.
- Ability to write reports, simple correspondence, and effectively present information to coworkers, customers, and management.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting components.
- Understanding of basic electrical theory and circuit principles.
- Works effectively in a positive team environment.
- Promotes safety awareness and follows quality, health, safety, and environment policies and procedures.
Must understand and speak English at a level sufficient to issue, receive, and respond to both safety and operations-related directions.
Minimum Qualifications- Education:
High School Diploma or GED. - Experience:
0-10 years.
