Description:

* Performs regular and scheduled maintenance on hydraulic fracturing equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.

* Conducts repairs on equipment as needed in the field using hand and power tools.

* Installs and configures electronic and electromechanical equipment and instrumentation.

* Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical, and electronic components.

* Travels to locations to perform emergency repairs on electronics and equipment.

* Diagnoses electrical problems and troubleshoots using wiring schematics, repair manuals, and part catalogs.

* Inspects, operates, and tests equipment and components to diagnose malfunctions.

* Tests equipment at the manufacturer's facility to ensure it meets company standards before field deployment.

* Documents repairs, inspections, and testing for all equipment.

* Maintains a safe work environment, adhering to all QHSE requirements at all times.

* Mentors and trains less experienced Electronic Technicians.

* Performs other related duties as requested.

Job Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Proficient use of electronic test instruments and tools.

* Extensive knowledge of instrumentation such as flow meters, transducers, densimeters, and controllers.

* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

* Proficient in using OEM software for configuring and troubleshooting related equipment.

* Knowledge of hydraulic applications controlled by electronic components and systems.

* Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics/drawings.

* Knowledge of data transmission protocols and equipment networking.

* Familiarity with radio communications.

* Ability to read and interpret safety manuals, operations instructions, and policies/procedures.

* Ability to write reports, simple correspondence, and effectively present information to coworkers, customers, and management.

* Skilled in reading blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting components.

* Understanding of basic electrical theory and circuit principles.

* Works effectively in a positive team environment.

* Promotes safety awareness and follows quality, health, safety, and environment policies and procedures.

Language Comprehension:

Must understand and speak English at a level sufficient to issue, receive, and respond to both safety and operations-related directions.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

* Experience:

0-10 years.
