Administrative Support Assistant 2 – Full-time
Location:
Marshalltown, IA
Salary: $35,963.20 - $52,353.60 annually.
Agency: 222 Corrections - Community Based Corrections - Fort Dodge.
Opening Date: 03/03/2026 | Closing Date: 3/15/2026 11:59 PM Central.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support and assistance to Probation/Parole Officers and other staff.
- Provide customer service to clients and guests with questions both in person and on the phone.
- Enter client and case information into the database.
- Process payments for program services.
- Access databases for criminal history and court orders.
- One year of full‑time work experience in general office, clerical, data entry/processing, or related work.
- A total of one year of education and/or full‑time experience, where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full‑time experience.
- Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes six months of full‑time work as an Administrative Support Assistant 1.

Within a period of time after hire, employees in this class may be required to achieve a typing speed of at least 40 WPM net as demonstrated by a typing examination.
