Technical Training Instructor

Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Training Instructor to join our team in Marshalltown, IA. The instructor will deliver in‑person factory‑based training at Impact Partner offices or customer sites, as well as virtual training sessions. Responsibilities include updating existing course materials and developing new content in line with IACET guidelines and adult learning best practices. Relocation assistance is available for qualified non‑local candidates.

• Conduct scheduled training sessions at Marshalltown campus, customer sites, sales representative offices, and regional training centers.
• Collaborate with partners to improve course curriculum, student materials, and hands‑on workshops.
• Prepare necessary instructional materials and equipment for classes.
• Work closely with Division product teams to develop and maintain technical expertise on assigned topics and related process control equipment.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Passion for learning and imparting knowledge to diverse audiences.
• Previous experience with adult technical learning.
• Strong mechanical maintenance skills.
• Self‑motivated, thriving in both team and autonomous settings.
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel in North America up to 50%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Engineering, or Industrial Technology.
• Experience with Fisher Division products, Control Valve Engineering, or FIELDVUE technology.
