Technical Training Instructor – Emerson, Marshalltown, IA (Hybrid; Full Time)
Responsible for delivering in-person and virtual technical training, updating course materials, maintaining expertise on Fisher Division products and supporting curriculum development per IACET guidelines.
Responsibilities- Conduct scheduled training sessions at Marshalltown campus, customer sites, sales representative offices, and regional training centers.
- Collaborate with partners to improve course curriculum, student materials, and workshops.
- Prepare instructional materials and equipment for classes.
- Work closely with Division product teams to develop and maintain deep technical knowledge of assigned topics and product offerings.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Passion for learning and imparting knowledge to diverse audiences.
- Previous experience with adult technical learning.
- Strong mechanical maintenance skills.
- Self‑motivated, thrives in team and autonomous settings.
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel in North America up to 50%.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Preferred:
Experience with Fisher Division products, Control Valve Engineering, or FIELDVUE technology.
