Press Brake Operator

Location: Marshalltown, IA (Onsite – Tech Center)
Job Type: Full-Time (No Travel)
Pay: $18–$24/hour (based on experience)

Mechdyne is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to support our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, program, and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components to precise specifications. You’ll work closely with project managers and production teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

• Set up, program, and operate press brake machinery
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and bend schedules
• Select tooling and perform setups for various materials and jobs
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment and tooling
• Coordinate with project managers on priorities and workloads
• Maintain tooling inventory and production documentation
• Work closely with laser and fabrication teams for proper part flow
• Cross-train in other areas and assist production as needed

• Prior press brake or fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude

• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns immediately
• Maintain accurate records, timesheets, and task lists

• Take initiative in learning and improving fabrication skills
