Position: DC 3 TO 1 OPERATOR - 1ST SHIFT

DC 3-1 Operator

Division/Department: Pork

Location: Marshalltown

Job title: 3-1 Operator

Reports to: Shift Supervisor

Hourly Rate:

Type of position: Full-time

Management Appointed

Shift: 1st

Hours: Flexible as needed

INTERNAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE LESS THAN 3 ATTENDANCE POINT IN ORDER TO APPLY

General Description: Watch boxes coming into the building and clean up jams as they occur. Run the rework scale with minimum supervision. Identify if the tape and labels on the boxes are placed correctly. Assist supervisors as directed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must become certified on the 3 to 1 Operator
  • General computer experience preferred
  • Must be able to obtain Forklift license
  • Knowledge of Red Prairie beneficial, but not required
  • Must be able to work in fast paced environment
  • Must be able to obtain LOTO certification
  • Must be able to work in cold environment
  • Required skills:
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Self-Motivated/ High Sense of urgency
  • Able to perform under High Stress situations
  • Be able to communicate in English (written and verbally)
  • Help train/coach new hire employees
  • Assist supervisors as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to multi-task
