Location: Mechdyne Tech Center, Marshalltown, IA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $18-$24/hour, based on qualifications and experience
Travel: None
Mechdyne is looking for a dependable, hands-on Manufacturing & Shop Technician to support fabrication, assembly, and shop operations. If you enjoy working with tools, building products, and learning new skills, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Perform product assembly and manufacturing tasks
- Operate shop equipment, including a Press Brake and Vertical Band Saw
- Package products and prepare shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support fabrication, grinding, and finishing activities as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Manufacturing, shop, construction, or assembly experience is a plus
