This is an entry level position within the Production Team. This job requires the person to prepare material and issue materials to work orders, ensuring color and physical characteristics of the material are appropriate. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Learn to read a work order, pick list and to locate material needed
• Mix materials per the pick list and work order
• Issue materials to designated locations for production
• Fill hoppers on the machines with appropriate material
• Grind scrap and sift out fines
• To understand the importance of labeling materials to not cause contamination
• Fully following the cleaning procedures to eliminate contamination of next run
• Receive materials and supplies
• Enter materials into Bruin's software program
• Handle non conforming products in accordance with QP 8.3 (Control of Nonconforming Product)
• Unload materials from delivery trucks (only when a forklift license has been acquired)
• Inventory materials
• Maintain mixing and grinding area in a neat and orderly manner
• Assists and perform other duties as assigned
• Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies
• Firm understanding and compliance with company’s Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Practices

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Either currently have or ability to attain forklift certification required
