Overview

We are looking for outstanding team members who have a passion for providing the best care for kiddos! We are hiring an RN or LPN Visit Nurse – Pediatrics for UnityPoint at Home in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Shift and Compensation
  • Signing bonus: $10,000 (eligible per role requirements; may not apply to positions involving care for a family‑member patient)
  • Full‑time/Hours per pay period: 1.0
  • Shift: 8‑hour shifts – days or nights (current posting is for day shifts)

Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Home Care RN or LPN, you will work one‑on‑one with children and their families to develop and implement an individualized care plan. Your duties include providing skilled nursing care to pediatric‑young adult patients with special health care needs in the patient’s home. This involves patient assessments, feedings, respiratory system management, medication administration, activities of daily living, and therapy programs.

You will also assist in care coordination with the care team and may be responsible for patient transportation.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a state board‑approved program for Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses and hold a valid license as an LPN or RN.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record (no “OWI” convictions in the last 7 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years). An unacceptable driving record may result in suspension, termination or transfer to another position not requiring the ability to drive.
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
  • Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Card with recertification.
