Overview

The Iowa Veterans Home is a long-term care facility, located in Marshalltown, Iowa, with the mission of providing exceptional resident-centered care and the highest quality of life to Iowa’s Veterans and spouses.

This position starts at $19.43 per hour.

• 3 day work week; 14-hours either 6 a.m.
  
  - 8:30 p.m. OR 3:45 p.m.
  
  -6:15 a.m.; working 1 out of 4 weekends
• 8-hours on evening shift (2 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.); working every other weekend
• 10-hours on night shift (8:15 p.m. – 6:15 a.m.); working every other weekend
• Weekend package shift options are available with retention payments up to $5,000 paid out over 26 pay periods. Lodging and meals available upon request.

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant. Performs basic personal care of residents following a plan of care developed by the primary nurse to meet the resident care needs. Will complete documentation and sign off in resident charts and care plans. Certified Med Aides will pass medications as indicated on MAR.
