Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Medication Technician! The Medication Technician supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that residents’ daily medication needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity, allowing them to live their life to the fullest!

- Part‑time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for Voluntary Life and Voluntary Short‑Term Disability
- Benefits begin on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment

- Pay available daily
- Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to the physician’s orders
- Understand and follow the “Six rights of medication administration” and all Bickford policies on medication management
- Use the eMAR system for medication administration
- Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care
- Provide direct resident care and supervise resident care work of non‑licensed team members and others on the branch as appropriate
- Demonstrate the Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes” to all team members on shift
- An active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of experience in the care of seniors
- Approved Medication Manager Certificate from the Department of Inspection and Appeals
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willingness to take additional training or education as required by state
- CPR and First Aid certifications are required
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and time‑management skills
- Good judgment, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Ability to use or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications
