$1,500 Recruitment Payment for Part-Time LPNs

Starting pay: $30.38/hour

At the Iowa Veterans Home (IVH) in Marshalltown, we are more than a workplace—we are a mission. Every day, our team provides exceptional resident-centered care to Iowa’s Veterans and their spouses. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in honoring their service by ensuring they receive the highest quality of life and compassionate care.

• Provide and oversee licensed treatments for up to 30 residents.
• Assess and evaluate resident conditions, take appropriate action, and adjust care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Lead and mentor Resident Aides, CNAs, and Medication Aides.
• Respond to acute changes in residents with professionalism, skill, and compassion.

Evening Shift: 8-hour shifts (2 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.). Night Shift: 10-hour shifts (8:15 p.m. – 6:15 a.m.). 1 weekend out of 3. Weekend Package:
Applicants are required to work 40 hours every two weekends, specifically on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, earn up to 4,000 in retention payments, with lodging and meals available upon request.

Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
