The Iowa Veterans Home is a long‑term care facility located in Marshalltown, Iowa, dedicated to providing exceptional resident‑centered care and the highest quality of life to Iowa’s veterans and their spouses. This position starts at $19.43 per hour with an additional $0.75 when passing medications.

• 3‑day work week; 14 hours either 6 a.m.–8:30 p.m. or 3:45 p.m.–6:15 a.m.; working 1 out of 4 weekends
• 8‑hour evening shift (2 p.m.–10:30 p.m.); working every other weekend
• 10‑hour night shift (8:15 p.m.–6:15 a.m.); working every other weekend
• Weekend package shift options available with retention payments up to $5,000 paid out over 26 pay periods. Lodging and meals available upon request.

Must be a Certified Nursing Aide with a Medication Aide Certificate. The applicant will pass medications as indicated on the MAR and perform basic personal care of residents following a plan of care developed by the primary nurse to meet the resident care needs. Documentation will be completed and signed off in resident charts and care plans.
