Software Engineer
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Engage firmware team to interpret upstream requirements to design, document, and implement supporting validations
- Perform project and product documentation in accordance with departmental and company procedures and standards
- Collaborate with other members of the project team to deliver features that are implemented, tested, and documented
- Design, assemble, and maintain test fixtures

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Ability to understand basic mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems
- Strong analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
- Programming experience in C# (Test), C++ (Firmware), or similar object-oriented programming languages
- Commitment to full-time (40 hours/week) Co-op experience in Marshalltown, IA.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of common software test methods
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Team City, Jenkins)
- Experience with distributed version control
- Experience with ARM embedded processor platforms
