Special Education Teacher
Organization: Martinson Elementary School
Starting Date: September 2026 (teachers begin Tuesday, September 1, 2026)
Salary: Teacher Salary Schedule
Reports to: Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent Student Services
Qualifications- Master's preferred.
- MA DESE License:
Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (Pre K-8) required;
Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities preferred (All). - Experience working with students with diverse academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral needs.
- Experience working with students with Autism, severe disabilities, and/or AAC devices.
- Ability to develop and implement behavioral plans and Individualized Education Programs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with families and colleagues.
