Job Description POSITION:
Tutor - Special Education
Assignment:Multi-Age Learning Center / TLC
(This is a vacancy due to a one year leave of absence) Furnace Brook Middle School35 hours per week
STARTING DATE:As soon as possible for the School Year
SALARY:Tutor Salary Schedule
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP OR LINE OF AUTHORITY:Directly responsible to Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services
QUALIFICATIONS:- BS/BA in education preferred.
- MA DESE License preferred.
- Strong desire to work with special needs children.
- Ability and experience working with students who have social/emotional and behavior challenges.
- Ability to work effectively with teachers and students.
- High personal integrity, reliability, punctuality, and ability to maintain confidentiality required.
