Systems Support, one of the first IT firms on the South Shore, is looking for a help desk technician to join our team in our Marshfield offices. Help people with their technology needs and grow your career as a member of our family.

• Remote Support: assist customers using remote tools to troubleshoot and resolve technology issues.
• On‑Site Support: troubleshoot and resolve technology issues at customer sites in the Greater Boston area and Cape Cod.
• Document Issue Resolution: record work performed in tickets and ITGlue, including time tracking for accurate billing and knowledge sharing.
• Monitoring Status Dashboards: monitor alert dashboards for system stability, backup success, and security alerts.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma.
• Previous
  
  Experience:
  
  Familiarity with RMM tools, command prompt, Power Shell, TCP/IP networking, Windows operating systems, and computer hardware troubleshooting.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Configure a PC, replace hard drive on PC, basic Power Shell scripting, install hardware in server racks.
• Domain Knowledge:
  Windows operating systems (desktop and server), TCP/IP networking, firewall management, Power Shell scripting, Office 365 administration.

• Clean driving record (company vehicle provided for onsite service work).
• Ability to lift 50‑75 lbs and deliver hardware to client sites.
• Ability to climb a ladder to install or troubleshoot WiFi APs.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Allocate work 40% remote support, 40% onsite support, 10% documentation, 10% dashboard monitoring.
