We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling orders, preparing goods for shipment, and maintaining accurate records of all outbound shipments. You will play a key role in ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with our quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities

Print, pick, package, and ship customer orders via various transportation methods
Prepare bills of lading and other required shipping documents
Palletize or crate outgoing shipments as needed
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
Ship materials to vendors and compute insurance value
Perform daily cycle counts of Finished Goods Stockroom
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and work area
File all customer orders and shipping documents appropriately
Order and manage inventory of shipping supplies
Electronically process and pick customer orders
Maintain and update shipping software (e.g., address and carrier rate changes)
Cross-train to support receiving operations when required

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required
1-3 years related experience or training required
Experience with bills of lading and major freight carriers a plus
Familiarity with packaging standards and visual packing instructions
Knowledge of ISO 13485 quality standards is preferred
Previous experience with shipping software (e.g., Fourth Shift) is a plus

Skills & Qualifications

Ability to accurately estimate weight and shipping costs
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with hygienic practices to prevent product contamination
Capable of understanding and following company rules and procedures
Ability to comprehend and follow documented work instructions and system procedures
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, and shipping tools safely
Regularly required to lift up to 70 lbs
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility
Ability to operate shipping scale and other standard shipping equipment
