That means standing up to Trump, lowering costs, and fighting for every Wisconsin family. As a community organizer, state representative, and Wisconsin’s first Black Lieutenant Governor, Mandela has the experience and grit this moment demands.
We’re looking for a bold Digital Manager who isn’t afraid to take risks and believes deeply in the power of storytelling. They must be creative and highly collaborative to produce standout content for the campaign. They will work with the broader digital team to push the candidate’s messaging across platforms, including X, Bluesky, Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, and other channels as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIESThe Digital Manager will work closely with the digital team to help shape the campaign’s message, create engaging content, and connect with voters on the issues that matter most to them.
Design social media graphics, including static graphics, motion graphics, GIFs, etc.
Gather assets at campaign events, including taking photos, capturing video, sharing live social media updates, and editing assets to optimize sharing for each platform.
Work with the team to develop and maintain social calendars.
Checklist digital content to make sure that all content is sent without errors.
Keep a pulse on the latest social media trends and bring new ideas to the table for visual content.
1-3 years of experience working on video and photo. Campaign experience is a plus, but not required.
Experience creating digital content for social media channels, and an understanding of how to create optimized content for each channel.
Knowledge of photo and video editing software such as Canva, Cap Cut, and Adobe Creative Cloud (or other video software of choice).
Knowledge on encoding formats, embedding, export settings, aspect ratios, and frame rates, familiarity with 4K camera picture profiles and recording settings or willing to learn.
Willing to work early mornings and late nights, including weekends.
Willing to relocate to Wisconsin.
