Orthodontic Assistant

The Orthodontic Assistant collaborates efficiently with the orthodontist and team to deliver a high standard of care to every patient. This role provides chairside support during all orthodontic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and a positive experience that fosters long‑term relationships.

Job Type: Full‑time

Location: Wausau (primary); travel to Marshfield, Rhinelander & Medford

Provide chairside support during orthodontic procedures; maintain a clean and organized clinical environment; assist with patient education and comfort; collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.

• Strong desire to work with children.
• Minimum one year of experience working with children preferred.
• Dental Assistant Certificate preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and commitment to patient/parent satisfaction.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to educate parents.
• Good hand‑eye coordination, manual dexterity and precision.
• Willingness to travel locally to other First Impressions offices.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
