Opportunity Highlights

Schedule:

Two weeks per month - clinic and call coverage. Clinic hours 8am-5pm, may need to be on site earlier for surgery
Job Setting:  Hospital System - Breakdown is approximately 60% clinic, 10% hospital and 30% procedures/surgeries. Level 2 Trauma facility. Level 2 Pediatric facility
Types of Cases:  16-20 patient encounters per shift. Typical procedures include cystoscopy, stent placement/removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, bladder installation. Provider must be willing to treat pediatric testicular torsion patients and some pediatric urology patients that present to the ER. Equipment available includes X-ray, cystoscopes, rigid scope, bladder scanner & Trus
Credentialing:  60 days

Minimum Requirements    Board Certified/Board Eligible:  Board Eligible minimum

Certifications:

BLS required
Licensure:  Wisconsin license required. IMLC not accepted
Specialty Skills

Required:

General Urology (Adult), Laparoscopic surgeries, Ureteroscopy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Robotic surgery, TRUS biopsies, Incontinence procedures
Preferred:  Pediatric General Urology, Advanced endoscopic techniques, Percutaneous nephrolithotomy, Robotic Partial nephrectomies/intraoperative ultrasound, Adrenalectomy, Renal and bladder u/s with biopsy, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)
