Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students' learning and emotional well-being within a vibrant educational community near Marshfield, WI. As a dedicated School Psychologist, you'll help cover a maternity leave, working approximately three days per week throughout the first semester. This meaningful role allows you to provide specialized support in assessment, consultation, and targeted interventions. You'll engage collaboratively with educators, families, and school-based professionals, ensuring that every student has the tools and resources to thrive academically and emotionally.

Qualifications and

Experience:

  • Valid Wisconsin certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Proficiency in a variety of assessment techniques, including cognitive, achievement, and social-emotional evaluations
  • Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities
  • Skilled at both independent work and collaborative problem-solving with teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments to inform educational planning
  • Provide consultation services to teachers, staff, and families regarding student support strategies
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
  • Participate in RTI and MTSS processes to identify and address student needs
  • Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as appropriate
  • Monitor student progress and maintain clear documentation, collaborating with staff to ensure optimal outcomes
