Position Summary:The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial strategy, performance, and overall financial health. This role provides strategic financial guidance to leadership while ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
The CFO leads budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management, and partners with leadership to support informed decision-making and sustainable growth.
Primary Position Duties:- Lead the organization’s overall financial strategy, planning, and analysis
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with applicable regulations
- Manage accounting operations, cash flow, and financial controls
- Partner with executive leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies
- Oversee audits, tax filings, and external financial relationships
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role
- Strong understanding of financial strategy, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Experience managing audits, tax reporting, and external financial partners
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with executive leadership
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) and/or CPA preferred
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- High level of integrity with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel
