American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a Level II outpatient setting with BLS and OTR certification required.

• Outpatient occupational therapy department in a Level II trauma center
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts with some flexibility
• Patient caseload averages 9 to 12 per day
• General outpatient orthopedics focus; caseload may include pediatrics, hand therapy, neuro, and lymphedema
• Cerner EMR in use, transitioning to Epic
• Primary duties include evaluation, treatment planning, re‑evaluation, and manual therapy for outpatient orthopedics
• Experience with dry needling, pediatrics, hand therapy, neuro, or lymphedema is preferred but not required
• Support staff includes appointment coordinators and rehab aides for administrative and clinical assistance
• Department‑specific orientation provided with shadowing and CBTs during the first week
• Business casual dress code required
• No weekend or holiday work required
• First‑time travelers are welcome for consideration
• Local candidates within 80 miles are accepted but with reduced pay rate
• Previous employees may be eligible if separated for at least 6 months and with approval

• Valid WI Occupational Therapist license required by start date; license required if applicable
• Current BLS (AHA) and Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) via NBCOT certification
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience, including internships
• Two professional references required: one supervisor and one peer or supervisor
• Willingness to undergo client credentialing and onboarding process
