Description:

OT professionals are given privileges within the facility, so they must go through a client credentialing process.
This process may take additional business days before the start date.
The OT must have all onboarding completed, including state licensure, done in a timely manner.
Failure to complete onboarding in time may result in a delayed start date.
The entire process from submission to start can take up to 2 months or longer, depending on the candidate's onboarding items.
The department typically treats approximately 120-150 patients per day.
Each therapist conducts about 9 evaluations and 16 treatments daily.
Common diagnoses include adult and pediatric intensive care, trauma, stroke, oncology, and inpatient rehabilitation.
The areas covered may include adult and pediatric acute inpatient and rehab services.
Job duties include ADL evaluation and documentation justifying the next level of care.
Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
Weekend and holiday work is required.
Scrubs should be solid color and maintained in a clean and professional manner.
Department-specific orientation may vary based on skill level.
