Nursing Assistant - Surgical​/Ortho - Part-Time

Position Overview:

A compassionate Nursing Assistant provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance in an inpatient setting, supporting patients under the supervision of RNs or LPNs. The role ensures smooth unit operations and offers opportunities for growth and development.

• Assist with basic healthcare needs such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating, while supporting emotional and spiritual needs.
• Record vital signs, blood glucose levels, and other health information.
• Help with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Perform clerical tasks related to scheduling and documentation.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas, living spaces, and medical equipment.
• Follow standards for biomedical waste disposal.

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification is preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain required competencies and certifications.
• If applicable, must be listed on the North Dakota Nurse Aide Registry within four months of employment.
