Experienced CNA Private Home Care

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Part-Time | Stratford/Marshfield Area, WI |$20/Hour

Looking for a more personal approach to caregiving? An experienced CNA or former nursing professional to provide dependable, one-on-one support in a private home. This is a direct-care position for someone who is confident with hands-on care, works well independently, and takes pride in doing things correctly. Rather than working with multiple patients in a facility, you’ll provide consistent care to one individual and become familiar with their routines, preferences, and needs.

Professionalism, discretion, reliability, and strong clinical skills are extremely important in this position.

Schedule:

Current openings include:
Weekdays: 8:00 AM-2:00 PM;
Weekends: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. Rate of pay: $20.00/hour.

Because of the physical nature of the position, applicants must be capable of safely completing manual transfers and lifting 50+ pounds when required.

• Assisting with personal care, bathing, dressing, and hygiene
• Catheter care and related routines
• Providing assistance with a bowel program, including manual evacuation
• Performing manual transfers and mobility assistance
• Completing range-of-motion exercises
• Monitoring skin and assisting with wound care
• Providing medication reminders
• Helping with basic household tasks
• Driving the individual's personal vehicle when needed

• Current CNA certification or previous nursing licensure with applicable hands-on experience
• At least one year of experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or similar clinical setting
• Confidence performing hands-on personal care and physical transfers
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Good judgment and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and follow established routines
• Reliable transportation and a dependable backup transportation plan
• A valid driver’s license and ability to maintain appropriate auto insurance
• Ability to successfully complete a caregiver background check

You should be someone who understands the importance of privacy and professional boundaries, communicates clearly, and can recognize when something needs attention.
