Mid-Level Systems Administrator Local

IP Corporation is a privately held, family‑owned chemical manufacturing company with more than 60 years of success and continued growth. We specialize in gel coats, resins, polymers, and composite solutions and operate through four business units:
Interplastic Corporation, North American Composites, HK Research, and Molding Products.

• Identity & Access Management
• Administer and maintain Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs, DNS, DHCP)
• Manage Azure Entra  (identity lifecycle, SSO, MFA, conditional access)
• Support hybrid identity integrations and directory synchronization
• Administer and support virtualized environments (VMware or equivalent)
• Perform server provisioning, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity
• Automation & Scripting
• Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts for automation, reporting, and operational efficiency
• Support infrastructure standardization and repeatable processes
• Security & Compliance
• Implement and maintain security best practices (least privilege, MFA, patching)
• Support endpoint protection, EDR, vulnerability remediation, and incident response
• Assist with audits, access reviews, and security improvements
• N–etworking
• Perform network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing basics)
• Support VLANs, switching, firewall rules, VPN connectivity, and secure Wi‑Fi
• Collaborate with network and security teams on infrastructure changes
• Operations & Projects

Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades.

Document systems, procedures, and changes clearly and consistently.

Provide Tier‑2/3 escalation support and mentor junior team members.

• 2–4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
  • Active Directory administration
  • Azure Entra (Azure AD) fundamentals
  • Power Shell scripting and automation
  • Virtualization platforms (VMware preferred)
  • Windows Server environments
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs)
• Working knowledge of security principles in enterprise environments
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks and expedite complex issues appropriately

• Experience in hybrid on‑prem / cloud environments
• Exposure to:
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Monitoring and logging tools
  • Patch management (WSUS, SCCM, Intune, or similar)
• Microsoft, VMware, or security‑related certifications
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management
