The Injection Molding Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. This team member will follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure efficient and safe production.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILIES

  • Mold, assemble, and package products.
  • Complete the necessary paperwork, including production records and quality inspection reports.
  • Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet the company quality standards.
  • Report any quality issues to the supervisor and quality team.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with training employees when necessary.
  • Perform other job duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience operating injection molding machines is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds. In addition, periodically move large heavy loads greater than 50 pounds with the assistance from a cart/dolly, pallet jack, or second person.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach above shoulders, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
