Pay: $16-$17
Must be able to lift upwards of 60 lbs.
$350 Sign-on Bonus Due to extensive account requirements, new hires are eligible for a $350 bonus on their first paycheck after completing at least 5 days of work.
Job Summary:
The Laundry Clerk is responsible for the full laundry cycles, established by the client, that include but not limited to washing, drying and folding the laundry, as well as storing the completed laundry to be transported to appropriate locations for access.
Essential Job Functions:

- Transporting soiled laundry into the washing and drying machines.
- Loading the soiled laundry into the washer and setting the correct cycle.
- Measuring and adding the correct amount of/type of detergent for each laundry washing cycle.
- Removing the clean laundry from the washing machine.
- Loading the clean wet laundry to the designated dryer.
- Set the appropriate cycle for each load and complete the drying cycle
- Cutting yellow duster sheets
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to read and follow directions on client laundry machines accurately and apply appropriate settings (e.g. type of load (heavy, medium, light), duration of wash cycle (short, standard, long); colored, whites, heavy duty, light, etc.;
- Ability to follow directions folding laundry according to specification of client (e.g. ensure folding is neat and consistent)
Education and Experience:
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
