Brake Press Operator – Second Shift

The Brake Press Operator safely performs a variety of fabrication machines in order to assist with the changing demands in the fab shop schedule. The position produces batches of various lot sizes, communicates with co‑workers and lead regarding production runs, follows quality protocols and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

• Operates a variety of machines including but not limited to a new Safan CNC press brake and a Tsune CNC cold cut saw to perform multiple fabrication operations and ensure the proper utilization of equipment and material
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
• May work at different workstations as production needs require
• Adheres to company quality protocols and processes
• Performs job duties in an ethical, professional manner consistent with the H&S handbook
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
• Performs duties with a safety‑first quality mindset

• One or more years of related experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of proper use of measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools
• Understanding and ability to read blueprints
