Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and utilization strategies to increase bookings and revenue
- Create retreat activity ideas, agenda templates, and planning resources to help guests maximize their experience
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key customer segments (e.g., community organizations, nonprofits, schools, faith-based groups, corporate groups, and program leaders)
- Collaborate internally to develop new programs, packages, and offerings aligned with market demand
- Oversee branding, messaging, and positioning across all marketing channels
- Manage and enhance the website, digital presence, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Support and collaborate on social media strategy, email campaigns, and outreach initiatives
- Track and analyze utilization trends, inquiries, conversion rates, and marketing performance metrics
- Partner with leadership on marketing budget development and cost-effective resource allocation
- Represent the organization at conferences, community events, and public gatherings
- Ensure marketing commitments align with on-site operations and guest experience
- Maintain systems for customer relationship management, inquiry tracking, and follow-up
- Gather and incorporate customer feedback to improve offerings and marketing approaches
- Supervise or collaborate with marketing staff, consultants, or volunteers as needed
- Perform additional related duties in collaboration with leadership and affiliated organizations
- Strong alignment with and support of a mission-driven organization
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or customer engagement (hospitality, nonprofit, education, retreat centers, or faith-based organizations strongly preferred)
- Proven experience developing marketing strategies that increase utilization, bookings, and revenue
- Comfortable engaging externally and representing the organization publicly
- Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and strong initiative
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Positive, collaborative professional presence with strong listening skills
- Experience with digital marketing tools, including websites, email marketing, CRM systems, and social media platforms
- Ability to analyze data, trends, and customer feedback to inform strategy
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
